We are a group of scientists, doctors,
students, and others interested in understanding the full spectrum of
effects of statins and other cholesterol-lowering drugs - including good
and bad effects - so that we can better understand these effects, and
inform doctors and the public about risks as well as benefits of these
drugs. (We are interested in similar issues for other drugs, but much of
our focus is on cholesterol-lowering drugs).
